In preparation for the holiday season, I created a commerce-centric micro site of goods and products curated by the editors of Playboy magazine. The user could filter and sort by type of product, and browse through the top picks.
In an effort to merge print with digital, the editors at Playboy requested a more robust online presence of hard-hitting editorial print editorial content, with hopes to eventually gain more subscribers on the print side. The end product was one that amped up the photography and illustration, while also highlighting Playboy's unique typographical voice.
To blow out Playboy's biggest event, Playmate of the Year, I was asked to design a hub page that highlighted every Playmate's profile, while requesting a vote for their favorite model.
Redesign Playboy's corporate home page to align with the former Playboy.com site (pre slab-serif redesign), to marry up the typography, color schemes, use of photography, sliders, and create a mobile-friendly version.
Devise identities for Playboy's social media and YouTube channels, including Playboy Gaming, a video game news source; World of Playboy, a feature and documentary-driven video channel; The Chortle, Playboy's comedy and humor video stream; and Indulgence, a culinary and libation channel. Branded content were seperate from the main Playboy site were kept within the orbit of the lifestyle brand. Assets included original logos, channel banners, and branded thumbnail overlays.
