UCLA Health required clear, adaptable visual systems to communicate rapidly evolving medical guidance during COVID-19 and beyond. I partnered with clinical, marketing, and editorial stakeholders to develop scalable design systems spanning digital, print, motion, and presentation platforms, ensuring clarity, credibility, and speed across departments.
During my time with UCLA Health, I partnered with marketing and clinical stakeholders to translate complex medical information into clear, human-centered design. My work spanned public health campaigns, patient education materials, institutional marketing, and internal communications under tight timelines. The throughline was clarity: distilling dense content into accessible, visually cohesive systems that upheld UCLA Health’s credibility while remaining warm, approachable, and engaging.
In addition to hands-on design and illustration, I played a leadership role in shaping the visual branding, including custom publications like The Checkup, The Newborn Manual, Dementia Guidebook, and New Patient Guide, while guiding projects from concept through final delivery. Whether launching a multi-channel public health initiative or developing long-form patient manuals, the result was design that supported institutional trust, and met the high standards of one of the top healthcare systems in the country.
