These public-facing educational materials for UCLA Health were designed to translate dense information into visuals that supported public health awareness. The focus was on delivering bite-sized, easy-to-scan information for a broad audience that prioritized clarity, hierarchy, and accessibility in moments when attention and trust were critical.
From a design perspective, the work leveraged strong typographic systems and custom illustration to guide viewers through key messages such as early childhood development, preventative medicine, screening, and safety protocols. UCLA Health’s core color palette anchored the print products in the institution’s visual identity, reinforcing credibility while maintaining warmth and approachability. The result was a cohesive, public-facing educational tool that balanced accuracy with visual clarity, helping complex health information feel understandable, calm, and actionable.
