The Healthy Living BEYOND™ Study is a nationwide research initiative exploring what it truly means to live well beyond just the number on a scale. Unlike traditional weight-focused studies, it examines how lifestyle changes, treatments, and personal health journeys impact long-term wellness, energy, and quality of life. The study’s insights aim to help clinicians, researchers, and communities support healthier lives for adults living with overweight or obesity.

As a designer on the project, I developed storyboards that translate complex research concepts and participant journeys into clear, engaging visual narratives. Working within the American Heart Association’s brand guidelines, I ensured each storyboard was not only visually cohesive but also aligned with the organization’s trusted voice. My work helped make the study’s goals and processes understandable and approachable, bridging scientific research with real human experiences.
