At TIME, design for the tablet edition played a central role in shaping how news stories were experienced, translating weekly coverage into engaging visual narratives. Working closely with editors and reporters, layouts and infographics adapted from print were reimagined for a more interactive and immersive format, bringing added depth to the latest stories of the week.

In a weekly digital format, these visuals needed to be instantly legible while still rewarding deeper exploration, often under tight production deadlines. Thoughtful pacing, visual hierarchy, and interactive elements ensured that newsy content remained polished, informative, and engaging, reinforcing TIME’s authority in covering news with editorial rigor.
